Catalina Island Golf Course only rents golf carts for play on the course itself.

At Catalina Island Golf Course we do our best to keep the cost of fun down, however we also do our best to keep the course in the best possible condition. Please see our Pricing & Packages page for a list of all fees.
As a customer of the course you are more than welcome to enjoy the canyon landscape by walking the course.
Currently, Catalina Island Golf Course is one 9-hole course. Historically, the course has had as few as 3-holes and as many as 18-holes.
Remember that golf is a game; it is supposed to be an enjoyable experience. Catalina Island Golf Course lets you enjoy the game while also enjoying beautiful Santa Catalina Island.
Catalina Island Golf Course has a full supply of both drive and push carts available for rent at the Pro Shop. If you prefer to carry you are more than welcome to.

Green Fees are the cost of maintenance. In order to keep the course looking and playing as well as possible, golf courses charge a “green fee” for the experience of playing on the grass
By paying the green fees at Catalina Island Golf Course, you are able to enjoy Catalina Island from a new perspective. The course carries you up into the canyons of Catalina Island while presenting a fun but challenging golf outing for any level of player.
Golf pull carts should be stable once the bag has been properly placed and tied in. Pull Carts should be an easy, convenient way to play golf with a mind on fitness as well as fun.
Most courses do have dress codes.
At Catalina Island Golf Course our dress code is as follows:
- Gentlemen must be wearing sleeves, i.e. no tank-tops
No, golf shoes are not required at Catalina Island Golf Course.
Tee Times are not required to play but they are highly suggested. Please call the Pro Shop at 1-310-510-0530 to schedule your tee time. Otherwise, you are more than welcome to stop by the Pro Shop to check on availability.
Summer Hours: 7am – 6pm
Winter Hours: 8am – 5pm
Because Santa Catalina Island is a vacation destination, it would depend on what you need and or brought with you. Please see the Pricing & Packages page for a list of all fees.
There is no membership offered at Catalina Island Golf Course, however if you are looking for a Men’s or Women’s Golf Club please stop by the Pro Shop.
Pace of Play depends on skill level, however an average golfer plays the course in 1.5 – 2 hours.

The golf course and Pro Shop would not be able to accommodate other catered events, however if you are interested in using the facility for such an event please contact the Catalina Island Company at https://www.visitcatalinaisland.com/meetings-and-events/ for more information.
Currently Catalina Island Golf Course does not have a restaurant or bar however, we do have snack items as well as cold beverages (non-alcoholic and alcoholic options) available to take out onto the course.
Catalina Island Golf Course allows outside food to be brought onto the property however, NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL may be brought onto the course.
Yes, Catalina Island Golf Course will supply and pack a cooler full of drinks to hook onto the golf cart for your round. Coolers must be returned with the carts at the end of the round.
If you are walking the course or using a personal cart, please do! If you have rented items from Catalina Island Golf Course please return all items to the Pro Shop before celebrating.

You can contact the pro shop to make a tee time up to 1 month in advance.
Animals that are well behaved, on a leash, and picked up after are always welcome at Catalina Island Golf Course.
